Bridges To Health Owner receives National Recognition in Sports Massage
Lee Stang, licensed massage therapist and owner of Bridges To Health received the National Sports Massage Therapist Achiever Award 2006 from the American Massage Therapy Association in a ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia. The AMTA is a professional association of over 50,000 massage therapists. All AMTA professional members have demonstrated a certain level of skill and knowledge through education and testing. Lee was nominated by her peers for her outstanding knowledge, excellent performance and unlimited service to Sports Massage.
Lee teaches at the CT Center for Massage Therapy. She received her sports massage certification in 1995 and has been active on the CT Sports Massage Team since. She was a staff therapist at Olympic Village during the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and coordinated the Sports Massage Team at the Olympic Stadium Complex in Athens Greece during the 2004 Paralympic Games. Lee has traveled with the US National Powerlifting Team, worked at the NCAA Women’s Final Four and provides massage to numerous WNBA players.
